Torture is a Moral Issue

Barack Obama is talking about closing Guantanamo. The other side is going to tell him no, but we for peace and justice know better. Let's MAKE him do it. Please endorse the Statement of Conscience “Torture is a Moral Issue” now.

In NYC, an event is planned for January 11 (the anniversary of the arrival of the first detainees at Guantanamo in 2002) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the COMMUNITY CHURCH (40 East 35th Street). Sign the petition, speak to your legislators, come to the prayer service on Jan. 11th. Do what you can!
