I was happy to join with other volunteers to make calls to Ohio in support of President Obama and Senator Sherrod Brown. Tony Smolenski (seen here with me) was one of the energetic organizers. I was so impressed with Tony and his great team. I truly enjoyed calling and spoke with some great folks. The photo here is from my Sunday stint at the Long Island City, NY, office but I worked about 8.5 hours (following voting in Sunnyside, which took over 70 minutes -- a record!) on Election Day. Love the Lions at the Fifth Avenue Main Library (Stephen A. Schwarzman Building). Besides the regal Fortitude, this photo shows how lovely the building looks following the restoration. (FYI, the southern lion is Patience.)

USuncut NYC was one of a number of groups at the steps of Farley Post Office (the historic main post office in NYC) greeting tax payers, reminding them they pay more taxes so Bank of America and other corporations like Exxon Mobil and GE can pay NONE. Here's a set of photos plus there is a short chanting video on YouTube.
